Len Goetzee graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design with a first-class honours degree in fine art, having been awarded the DCA prize for their final degree show. In September 2021 they took up a position at Glasgow School of Art on the performance pathway of the MLITT Fine Art Practice programme. Graduating with distinction in 2022, they were nominated for the Foulis Medal and awarded the Chair’s Medal.

Len uses queer scavenger methodologies full of fragmentary traces, echoes and whispers to create harmonious movements with Foucauldian ‘untamed ontology’ origin stories. Beneath the order of things lies the disorder of things, and they inhabit this topsy-turvy with their voice in all its transitioning variety. Their trans voice becomes a carrier; a vector sharing a story within a story and worlds within worlds.
