      The RSA Barns-Graham Travel Award 14 January - 1 March 2023
      The RSA Barns-Graham Travel Award, funded by the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Trust and administered by the RSA, has been a major annual award in our opportunities programme since 2006. we are pleased to present new work from Natasha Faye Jensen (2020 winner) and Paige Silverman (2021 winner). We are also taking the opportunity to re-visit the wealth of talent the award has supported so far, sharing current work by past winners and tracing the development of their practice in the intervening years.

      RSA New Contemporaries represents the Royal Scottish Academy's commitment to supporting and promoting emerging artists and architects in Scotland. Now in its thirteenth year, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to see some of the most promising talent in Scotland in one single, large-scale exhibition in the heart of Edinburgh. Showcasing 56 graduates selected from the 2021 degree presentations, the exhibition will be a brilliant overview of the current outlook of emerging Scottish art.

      This October, we are pleased to present an exhibition celebrating fifty years since the passing of one of Scotland's most talented twentieth-century artists, William Wilson RSA (1905-72). Regarded as a leading exponent in printmaking, watercolour and stained glass, this exhibition marks the first survey across Wilson's practice in nearly thirty years.
