    Learning Forward: UHI Fine Art Alumni Exhibition

    The BA (Hons) Fine Art Programme is excited to announce a series of interlinking events celebrating the creativity, and community of our students our alumni and the Royal Scottish Academy.  

     

    In celebration of our alumni achievements, we are hosting an exhibition at Moray School of Art that showcases work from previous RSA New Contemporaries award winners between 2009-2025.

     

    Fifteen artists will be showing new and existing work as part of the exhibition, including new site-specific installations from three of the alumni. The exhibiting artists are: Anna Charlotta Jansson, Caroline Inkle, Daye Allan, Fiona Percy, Georgina Porteous, Jennifer Upson, Jamie Davidson, Kayleigh Kellas, Kirsty Duguid, Kirsty Smith, Moira Downie, Naomi Ojima, Ráchel Jutka, Rachel McClure, Selena S. Kuzman 

     

    The exhibition will be supported by a programme of artist talks and student events, as well as a special screening of the RSA200 Moving Image Programme ‘Seeing is Believing’ curated by Ronald Forbes RSA on 19 November.

    UHI Fine Art Programme RSA & RSA Collections  Research Visit

    5 - 6 November

     

    On November 5th & 6th we will be taking up to 30 students from across all four sites of our Fine Art programme at Moray, Shetland, Orkney and North Uist, to visit the RSA Collections and the RSA 200 Years exhibition.

     

    Students will have the valuable opportunity to engage with the RSA's team and Collection  and select specific works to view that link with their own research and developing practices.

    About Moray School of Art

    Moray School of Art (MSA) offers a student-centred, studio-based experience on a small campus within UHI Moray, a partner of The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). Based in the Cathedral City of Elgin, students are taught by a highly experienced team of visual practitioners who support students to explore and experiment with a range of fine art media such as painting, digital imaging, photography, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. Graduates of the school have gone into the creative workplace, become self-employed, undertaken residencies, and postgraduate study in a range of locations.
