RSA Annual Exhibition 2007

Admission £4/£2 concession (Under 12s free)

The RSA 181st Annual Exhibition is a highlight of the exhibiting calendar for artists, architects and members of the public. The exhibition showcases the best of both established and emerging artists selected from across the country, presenting a comprehensive cross section of contemporary art in Scotland. In addition, expect to see works by RSA Members such as Elizabeth Blackadder OBE, Calum Colvin, Adrian Wiszniewski, Joyce Cairns and Barbara Rae as well as projects from such architects as Cameron Webster Architects, Richard Murphy and GROSS.MAX Landscape Architects!

The exhibition takes up all 12 of the magnificent RSA Galleries and includes painting, sculpture, film making, photography, printmaking, architecture and installation. Much of the work is for sale so it is the perfect opportunity to pick up your own masterpiece.

This year the much-anticipated RSA Annual Exhibition will also have a specially curated aspect called HIGHLAND: Visual Responses to Highland Scotland. As part of Highland 2007, a year which celebrates the artistic and cultural contributions of the Highlands to Scotland and the wider world, a number of artists have been invited to exhibit whose work has a particular focus on the Highlands. This curated exhibition will tour venues across the Highlands during 2007 and 2008. There will also be a series of Talks & Gallery Tours to coincide with HIGHLAND.

The 181st RSA Annual Exhibition is sponsored by STATE STREET.
