How did the experience affect you as an individual?
I found it an exciting, challenging and wonderfully immersive experience.
What was the impact on your practice?
It afforded me the opportunity to push myself beyond what I had previously experienced, by having the time and funding to create a body of work following leaving the MFA programme at Edinburgh College of Art, culminating in exhibiting at the RSA.
What would you say the long term impact has been on yourself and you work?
It fostered confidence to continue aspects of my practice in challenging times and an enduring love of Florence.
