  • About Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop

    About Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop

Located in the community of Newhaven, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is a place where artists make and develop work.

We support artists in many different ways, providing subsidised studios, open access to affordable workspaces and specialist facilities, as well as training and professional development. We commission new work, provide funding through a year-round programme of residencies and employ artists across all areas of activity.

Bill Scott PPRSA was the Chair of ESW during an important time in our development, working closely with the team and Sutherland Hussey Harris architects to create the new buildings now known as the Bill Scott Sculpture Centre and the Creative Laboratories.

ESW is glad to be able to explore and share some of the artist stories which weave between the RSA and our organisation during the 200 year's celebration programme.
