RSA200 Printmaking Masterclasses
Edinburgh Printmakers frequently collaborates with the Royal Scottish Academy through exhibition partnerships, print projects, events and residency opportunities.
As part of RSA200 Celebrating Together, Edinburgh Printmakers is delighted to be partnering with the RSA to deliver a series of Printmaking Masterclasses this summer.
These courses provide a unique opportunity to work with acclaimed artists to explore the vast RSA Collections. Each course also provides an opportunity to experience hands-on printmaking in the Edinburgh Printmakers Print Studio, which has supported Royal Scottish Academicians such as Sam Ainsley RSA, Claire Barclay RSA , John Bellany HRSA, Kate Downie RSA , Ian Hamilton Finlay HRSA, Leena Nammari RSA , and Eduardo Paolozzi HRSA. The dates for the Masterclasses are as follows:
Relief Printing with Ade Adesina RSA, 4 - 5 July
July Mokuhanga & Japanese Papermaking with Elspeth Lamb RSA & Alison Newman, 17 - 19 July
Archiving Architecture with Bronwen Sleigh RSA, 21 - 23 August
