RSA200 Moving Image Programme

As part of the Royal Scottish Academy's bicentenary celebrations, painter and filmmaker Ronald Forbes RSA has curated a programme of moving image work by Royal Scottish Academicians and RSA award winners.

The programme includes a wide variety of work reflecting artists' moving image practice in Scotland from the past and present. it includes work from the RSA Collection and work being made today.

On the evening of the launch, the 24^th of July, we will play the Academician's Showcase Part One and Part Two from 6pm.

On the 1^st, 17^th and 24^th of August we will play the following films shown below.

Film Collections

The Moving Sketchbook (37 minutes) -10am
Culture Above and Beyond: Part One (32 minutes) – 11am
Culture Above and Beyond: Part Two (53 minutes) – 12 noon
Florence: New Reactions (48 minutes) – 1pm
Language, Place and Understanding (60 minutes) – 2pm
Academicians’ Showcase: Part One (47 minutes) – 3pm
Academicians’ Showcase: Part Two (44 minutes) – 4pm
Seeing and Believing (47 minutes) – 5pm

Shows are drop in and out, no tickets needed.
