Studio Facilities
Fully equipped, accessible print studio for traditional and CNC printmaking processes, including: etching, screenprinting, relief, letterpress, digital screenmakers, darkroom, digital imaging and CAD, riso, papermaking. Costs

Session fees from £5 per 3.5 hours (covers consumables)
Printing Fees: Standard £3/ Large format £ 5 per day (includes inks)
Specialist 121 printmaking tuition: £45 per hour (minimum of 4 hours)
Our Get Creative Programme offers one-day workshops and introductory classes and intermediate courses, covering traditional printmaking techniques, lo-fi processes, photography and digital design.

The artist would have access to the DCA Communications team and be promoted via the DCA website, social media, newsletters and event listings.

Subject to the outcome of the residency, the artist would have the opportunity to participate in:
- informal events, artists talk and presentations
- printmaking workshops
- potential for inclusion in our editions archive
Requirements
We encourage a multi-disciplinary approach to printmaking, embracing old and new technologies and welcoming anyone who is interested in exploring the potential for printmaking to inform their research, development and making. All levels of experience in printmaking are welcome to apply.
To use the studio, you must be competent in that print area. Tuition across a range of printmaking techniques is available on a 121 or group basis during the residency- please see website for costs and build this into your budget
Accommodation offered
DCA can assist with arrangement of local self-catering accommodation, or subject to availability, use of the DCA artist flat. Artists should budget for around £ 80 per night.

CA is a five minute walk from Dundee Train Station and a 15 minute walk from Dundee Bus Station. For train timetables visit Scotrail. There is a bus stop directly outside DCA (Queens Hotel Bus Stop) and a bus stop opposite DCA for travel back towards the city centre (University Bus Stop). Buses that travel within Dundee, towards Broughty Ferry, Arbroath, and Monifieth operate here. Buses are operated by Xplore Dundee and Stagecoach. Accessibility
- The Print Studio is accessible by lift from either the front or back entrance or via a flight of stairs, with handrail
- Print Studio is laid out with wide access routes to facilitate wheelchair manoeuvrability and ease for use by people with mobility impairment
- Print Studio also has accessible toilet facilities
- There are two designated disabled parking spaces in the car park at the back of the building
- No parking on double yellow lines outside the front of the building on Nethergate
- There is a taxi rank directly outside the front of the building, with level access up a gentle slope to the entrance.

Insurance
The Artist shall maintain Public Liability Insurance with cover of up to £1,000,000.00 (1 million pounds) for the duration of this Agreement.
