In his second solo exhibition in the Academicians’ Gallery, Ade Adesina RSA will be showing new woodcuts and etchings of sublime scope and technical virtuosity.
Please note this exhibition will be closed on Wednesday 26 October until 2pm for a private event. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Adesina was born in Nigeria and studied Fine Art at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen. In 2017 he became the first RSA New Contemporary to be elected a Royal Scottish Academician. Approaching diverse subjects including climate crisis, industry, architecture, deforestation and Scottish culture, the exhibition will be a visual compendium rife with finely observed detail and fantastical moments.
