Join us in the gallery to celebrate the launch of William Gillies: Modernism and Nation in British Art by Andrew McPherson, a new monograph on the artist published by Edinburgh University Press in partnership with the Royal Scottish Academy, with a short talk by the author and book signing.
Surrounded by rarely seen works and acclaimed masterpieces, Andrew McPherson will discuss his publication, which sheds new light on the practice of this hugely significant Scottish artist.
William Gillies: Modernism and Nation in British Art, usually £25, will be available to purchase at the special price of £20 at the book launch.
