Mokuhanga Demonstration with Paul Furneaux RSA
Join Paul Furneaux RSA in the gallery as he delivers a live Mokuhanga printmaking demonstration on Saturday 25 July as part of Chaos and Control: Printmaking in Scotland Now.
Paul will present a series of short demonstrations throughout the day, beginning at 11am. Demonstrations will take place every 30 minutes and last approximately 20 minutes each.
Furneaux is a Master Printmaker whose work draws inspiration from the colours, shapes and textures of both Scottish and Japanese landscapes. Renowned for his innovative use of the traditional Japanese printing method, Mokuhanga, Furneaux spent four years living in Japan, completing a master’s degree focussed on the technique.
