This work is priced unframed. It is presented unframed and hangs directly on a wall.

Statement by the artist:
Those who are left behind remember.
An alleyway in Jerusalem Old City, two trolleys sit side by side. The light at the end of the tunnel highlights two legacies: one local, identifiable carrier of goods in the old town, and the other, an imported container of goods.
One (arabay) is upended on its back, made of wood with rubber wheels, and has a rubber tyre attached to a chain for a brake. The other trolley is found in every supermarket worldwide. One is ubiquitous in the old city, slowly being replaced by the generic, every-country bland trolley. My heart hopes that the wooden trolley will survive into the next century and continue to be used as a mover of all things, constantly fixed by the owner, brightly painted, constantly patched up with panels of wood, and locally made. The almost blinding light settles on them, highlighting their form, as if they are treasures at the end of a quest. The wooden trolley feels like it has been left behind, in favour of the modern generic blandness of everywhere.

This screenprint is made of 8 layers. Each layer started with a modification of the same colour, from very bright gold to dark raw umber.
