During my skills section for DofE I felt no improvement; Art had become a dormant hobby for me. However, I slowly began to handle my skills and moved onto more complex pieces. I now feel ever so grateful for my art teacher who encouraged me to submit the baby artwork despite my hesitation. After hearing the good response from the competition, I felt ecstatic, shocked, and appreciative for such an opportunity to have my art recognised. Overall, from this competition I hope to take away a remembrance of the self-development, chances, and patience that creativity fosters.
