200 Years of Scottish Golfing Art

Experience a brush with sport in this celebration of golf and art. From course to canvas and players to portraits, our exhibition reignites the creativity which propelled golf to the game it is today.

Golf’s landscape and leading figures have featured in the works of many Royal Scottish Academicians and exhibitors, from Charles Lees to Sir Francis Grant and John Smart.

Visit the R&A World Golf Museum, where you can enjoy paintings and prints, photography and architecture, sculpture and sketches from the RSA Collections and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, as well as significant pieces from Fife Cultural Trust and the Museum’s own collections.

Discover how over 200 years, artists, photographers and architects from the Royal Scottish Academy have found inspiration in golf.
