The William Lamb Studio's website

The William Lamb Studio was the working studio of William Lamb ARSA (1898-1951) and now houses a collection of his sculptures, prints and drawings. It was his own working studio from 1935 until his death in 1951.

For 2026, the RSA will loan Lamb's work The Young Fisherman from 1927 (cast by George Mancini (1904-89) for display at the studio.

About The Friends of the William Lamb Studio

The Friends of the William Lamb Studio is a community group established to support the regular opening of the William Lamb Studio and to promote Lamb’s work. The Friends are now solely responsible for opening the Studio to the public. The Studio and artworks were bequeathed by Lamb to the town of Montrose. Volunteers open the Studio on the last Saturday of the month from March to October and in July and August every Friday and Saturday afternoon. Special visits can be arranged on request.
