The BA (Hons) Fine Art Programme is excited to announce two interlinking events celebrating the creativity, and community of our students and alumni.

In October, we will be taking students from across all four sites of our Fine Art programme delivery at Moray, Shetland, Orkney and Uist, to visit the RSA Collections as well as visit the RSA 200 Years exhibition. Students will have the valuable opportunity to engage with the RSA collections, and select specific works to view that link with their own research and developing practices.

In celebration of our alumni achievements, we will also be hosting an exhibition at Moray School of Art’s Gallery space that showcases work from alumni who were previous RSA New Contemporaries exhibitors. The exhibition will be supported by a programme of artist and curator talks, as well as a special screening of the RSA200 Moving Image Programme.

    About Moray School of Art

Moray School of Art (MSA) offers a student-centred, studio-based experience on a small campus within UHI Moray, a partner of The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). Based in the Cathedral City of Elgin, students are taught by a highly experienced team of visual practitioners who support students to explore and experiment with a range of fine art media such as painting, digital imaging, photography, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. Graduates of the school have gone into the creative workplace, become self-employed, undertaken residencies, and postgraduate study in a range of locations.
