Every year a panel of our Academicians visit degree shows across Scotland to select the most exciting emerging talent for RSA New Contemporaries. After a tough few weeks of judging, we're delighted to announce the RSA New Contemporaries of 2026.
This year, selection was made by exhibition Convenor Michael Visocchi RSA, with assistance from Leena Nammari RSA, Claire Barclay RSA (Elect), Toby Paterson RSA (Elect), Barry McGlashan RSA (Elect), Bronwen Sleigh RSA (Elect) and representatives from the five main colleges of art.
