Regional Award - Intermediate West Winner.

The artist: "This is a major achievement for me to have been chosen as an award winner for the RSA School art award. I enjoy art and design very much and I hope to follow a career in art in the future, being nominated for this award has boosted my confidence. I look forward to being part of the online exhibition.
My painting was about ecology and raising the profile of recycling. The umbrella represents protecting ourselves and the planet from the effects of pollution. Raising awareness for this issue is very important. My hope is that the painting will have an impact on those who view it. My painting was done using acrylic on an A2 board."
