    Schotz sculpted his daughter Cherna regularly as she grew up and in adulthood. This magnificent sculpture celebrates the bond between father and daughter. The symbolism of Nefertiti also suggesting it is ancient and innate - crossing generations and civilisations.

    'When the baby was brought to be shown to me she held her head stretched out, her large eyes staring unseeingly, her face smooth and oval, and her profile very Egyptian, resembling that of Nefertiti, the Egyptian Queen.'
