Located near Largs, Goldenberry Hill in North Ayrshire provides one of the best vantage points in which to see the islands of the River Clyde. When the Haar (sea fog) covers the coast, the trek to the summit, passing through a small forest, feels ghost like. Reaching the summit cairn, often above the clouds, is ethereal – the lights of the towns below shining through the mist below.
