The composition is a self-portrait that was made for my National 5 art portfolio. My composition was influenced by warm light. I have layered several different thin layers of colours on top of each other to create the pigment of the skin and the fine details. Upon receiving the award I was overcome with joy and happiness. It means so much to have received this award and knowing that my artwork has been acknowledged and appreciated. Thank you for this award.
