From the artist: It was a nice surprise to find out that my painting had been selected, I am really proud of my work.
The project focused on exploring natural forms. I liked working in acrylic paint, mixing and blending colours to create the colours of the wings. I enjoyed creating the repeat pattern for the background using polystyrene, as this was a fun new technique.
