Regional Award - Intermediate East Winner

From the artist: My artwork is a still life and was inspired by the theme of afternoon tea. I included objects found at an afternoon tea in my composition, such as a teapot and cup, as well as flowers. I chose this theme as I think it is elegant and beautiful. I created this piece using acrylic paint, as I enjoy using this media to create artwork and feel my painting is strong due to this. I put in many hours of effort to create this painting and I am very happy with what I produced in the end. I wanted to take part in the competition as I thought it would be a good way to test my skills and to have fun creating artwork.
