Chairs Challenge - First Prize Winner

From the artist: Beliefs about the significance of social connection and interdependence vary across cultures. In the Western world, individualism is highly valued, and we often prioritize our personal goals over community or social connections. However, this emphasis on individualism can sometimes lead to a sense of isolation and disconnection from others. In this painting I aimed to capture the importance of vital human connection through my own personal friendships.

Winning this award for my artwork has been a complete surprise - It's amazing to have my work and creativity recognized, and it's given me a real sense of pride in what I've accomplished. I'm so grateful for this recognition, and it's an honour to have my work celebrated in this way.
