Intermediate Award - Second Prize Winner

The artist: "The artwork is inspired by the artist Shirley Trevena. It is a mixed media collage of different still life pieces that are all based around the covid pandemic. I felt it was important to create an artwork based on this as it is something which has affected everyone throughout the past two years. I created the different pieces using water colours and printmaking techniques. I also used oil pastels to highlight the prints and make them stand out. I am really happy to have won this award as I did not expect to. Thank you!"
