Finley Blue Morgan’s Vacant Land series looks at the many autonomous plots around Glasgow that have been defined by the Scottish Government as ‘Vacant and Derelict’. Morgan’s creative process is tactile and involves exploring on foot, observing objects in how they occupy unused plots, and curating images through play and thoughtful movement. Through this process of image-making, Morgan aims to cut through the knots and noise of a busy city, and observe how it creeps into green spaces that it was not intended to occupy.
