As a political/activist artist, Finn Millar uses art as a tool to communicate ideas, raise awareness and educate on social issues. His interdisciplinary practice combines film and graphic design to create blunt, direct and comprehensible bodies of work that critique political/social institutions while also actively aiding in ongoing issues.

Graduating with first-class honours at DJCAD, Finn organised student protests, attended rallies of striking staff and joined marches of Palestinian resistance, all while developing his creative practice.

As a teenager, Finn was part of Jupiter Artland’s Orbit Youth Council and in 2025 he was part of Jeremy Deller’s team on the Triumph of Art project. Most recently, Finn was commissioned by the V&A and YPC to collaborate on a public installation in Dundee that highlighted the deliberate targeting of Palestinian journalists in Gaza, as well as raising funds for those remaining under occupation.

By incorporating creative techniques, Finn engages audiences with social issues that they may otherwise be wary of approaching, and cultivates collective learning through art in an effort to foster positive societal change.
