£250 - Printmaking and Bookbinding class with Leena Nammari RSA

Saturday 26 September 2026

In this intimate one-day workshop, coinciding with World Cyanotype Day, master printmaker Leena Nammari RSA will teach you on how to create your own cyanotype prints and bind these artworks into a book.

In the morning, you’ll get to create your own set of cyanotype prints guided by Leena’s insights and experience. Invented by Sir John Herschel in 1841, a cyanotype print is created by placing objects or images on top of paper that has been specially coated and exposing it to sunlight, resulting in a striking Prussian blue toned image. In the afternoon, Leena will teach you bookbinding techniques to transform your prints into your very own artist’s book.

A donation provides one space in this exclusive workshop for up to six people ensuring an ample ammount of one on one time with Leena. This full-day workshop is suitable for all skill levels. We’ll provide all necessary materials and refreshments.

Leena Nammari RSA is a Palestinian artist printmaker based in Scotland.

She has exhibited within Scotland, Europe, Palestine and Australia as part of group exhibitions and has had a number of solo shows. She is a master printmaker, in all aspects of printmaking, and though her ideas predominantly are analysed and broken down through printmaking processes, she has also worked in film, photography, bronze and ceramics.

Your donation will support our ambitious programme of exhibitions, talks, performances and special events across Scotland in 2026, celebrating our 200th Anniversary.
