The design studio created a resort for the Mountain Biker community in Huntingdon, PA, nestled along the Allegheny bike trails and bordered by the woods, with Raystown Lake to the south. The project includes guest houses, community areas, trailer homes, a community kitchen, and administrative facilities. A drive-through café and public spaces are also integrated to enhance the local economy and foster community interaction. The design concept centers on the themes of travel and mountain biking, expressed through materials like corrugated metal sheets and container profiles. These elements symbolize the adventure and spirit of exploration that define the community. The arrangement of modules and trailers prioritizes privacy while promoting social interaction through clustered communal spaces. Balconies are strategically positioned to offer stunning views of the ever-changing Pennsylvania woods, connecting residents to the natural surroundings throughout the seasons.
