Earthscape Cosmography, an assemblage of ceramic and mixed-media objects, references different time periods and types of making. These are reconstructed relics, from antler tools imprinted with the maker’s hand, to lumps of raw unprocessed clay and repetitively hand-formed twigs. Mirroring the incongruous combinations of uprooted artefacts found in natural history collections, objects are ceremoniously placed together to forge new imaginary values of exchange reaching through human timescales.
