Pert has been Project Director on a number of high-profile projects including the London 2012 Olympic Substation, an electrical substation for EDF Energy that was built as a key part of the utilities infrastructure in the Olympic Park. It won the award for the best brickwork in Britain in 2010 as well as reaching the midlist for the Stirling Prize. The substation has been hailed as a great success and an inspired piece of commissioning. More recently Pert has completed Shingle House for Living Architecture as well as a major masterplan for Stoke City Council including a new bridge over the Caldon Canal.

For 8 years Pert has acted in the role of Project Director for a £40m mixed-use scheme in central Glasgow. Projects currently in development include a series of buildings won in international competition: a town hall in Ireland;, a furniture gallery for the V&A, London; a community swimming pool and a housing project in Glasgow. The practice was also recently commissioned to design a number of retails units for Pringle of Scotland, which will open in London and in Europe.
