The Glenfiddich Artists in Residence programme was established in 2002 and has evolved into a highly acclaimed and culturally important annual programme that is fully funded by the family owners of Glenfiddich, William Grant and Sons.  Each year, a number of artists from around the world are selected to take up a residency at the distillery and invited to take inspiration from their surroundings to produce new work.  It has become widely acclaimed in the art world for providing artists with an original setting, space and community in which to work.

The Skinny is Scotland’s leading free magazine, offering independent cultural journalism to readers in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee in a monthly print title and online at theskinny.co.uk.
