The RSA Art Rental Scheme provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy outstanding works of art, from the RSA collection, in your workplace. Dating from the late 18th century through to the present day the collection includes art works by eminent Scottish artists including John Lavery, Anne Redpath, William Gillies, Joan Eardley, Sir Robin Phillipson, Eduardo Paolozzi, John Huston, Elizabeth Blackadder, John Byrne, Victoria Crowe and Barbara Rae. This collection has been awarded National Significance status in recognition of its unique value to the nation.
For clients seeking a wider selection of contemporary Scottish art our service also extends to renting directly from artist studios across Scotland. We offer both short and long term loans and artworks can be changed every 6 months ensuring a fresh and engaging work environment for your staff and clients. All art rental income is directed towards the upkeep of our collections so by renting from the RSA you will ensure future generations enjoy this national treasure
Selecting the right artwork: We want to understand your company, art preferences, space and budget. We will visit your offices to help identify art locations and assess hanging conditions. In line with your artwork preferences we will draw up an artwork brief and compile a digital presentation of artworks from which a shortlist of works can be selected. Shortlisted works can then be viewed, in situ, prior to final selection.
Transport and Installation: We arrange transportation and installation of artworks at a time which suits your business. We also offer a comprehensive re-hang service for existing artworks you may have.
Loan period: Whilst the standard loan period is 1 year short term loans will be considered for specialist events etc. We encourage clients to change their selection of artworks on a regular basis ensuring an invigorated work environment.
