RAHELLA KHAN-FITZGERALD

John Kinross Scholar in 2018

How did the experience affect you as an individual?
The scholarship gave me the confidence and opportunity to explore drawing and creative thought in a way I have never experienced before, or since.

What was the impact on your practice?
This experience impacted the way I thought – I began to think and explore through drawing.

What would you say the long term impact has been on yourself and you work?
I am now a printmaker. I previously would not have pursued printmaking and drawing in the way I have since the scholarship. I have continued the practice and way of thought I discovered during the scholarship both in the print studio and in my day to day work in architecture.
