Artbites with Samantha Wilson

Samantha was the recipient of the Friends’ Prize in 2015 New Contemporaries and she returns during this year’s New Contemporaries exhibition to give an insight into her practice over the year which includes a residency in Barcelona. She will introduce her background as an artist, and discuss some of her developments, inspirations, both visual and textual. Thereafter expanding on what she considers to be an important role for art; its capacities and how we can use (and view) materials to influence the way we see and respond to the world around.
