Artbites with Hannah Imlach

Hannah Imlach  has a long relationship with the RSA having initially exhibited in New Contemporaries in 2012. She will discuss a recent major commission from the RSPB, where she created a suite of sculptures and film inspired by peatland ecology and restoration in the Flow Country. She will also introduce a series of sculptural and print works featured in a recent solo exhibition at Peacock Visual Arts, made possible through the RSA Residencies for Scotland Award (2015 & 2019). These works explore community-initiated renewable infrastructure in markedly different contexts; the pioneering hydroelectric scheme on the Isle of Eigg, and a newly completed Archimedes’ screw in the heart of Aberdeen.
