A Scottish Sketchbook of Florence: 40 years of collecting from the John Kinross Scholarship

The RSA John Kinross Scholarship Collection contains nearly 800 artworks from around 450 scholars who have graduated from the main schools of art and architecture in Scotland. Outside of the Diploma Collection, it is the RSA’s largest survey collection and offers fascinating insight into the work of Scotland’s emerging artists and architects of the past 40 years.

Collections Curator Sandy Wood has worked with the Kinross Collection since he joined the RSA in 2003 and his presentation will reveal its history and evolution, from the origins of the Kinross Scholarship in 1980, to the present.

Donations are optional but all funds raised go towards supporting Scottish artists and architects, so we hope you give generously.
