The artist: "My background is in illustration, yet I have always been fascinated by assemblage and the possibility of 'Box art'. I'm really interested in the relationship or juxtaposition of unlikely objects. My plates have become a happy fusion between my graphic urges and containing these magic moments before it's too late. The final stage of box framing the ceramic has become an essential way of enhancing the story within."
