The Artist: "These images are part of a larger series of self-portraits called ‘Searamics’, a project that I started developing in 2019 during an RSA funded residency at An Talla Solais, Ullapool, and Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop. During the residency I experimented for the first time with sculpture and ceramics and searched for ways of incorporating these new mediums into my practice. The resulting images are inspired by the sea and sea creatures and feature the ceramic objects made in the residency."
