Wendy McMurdo RSA's work (photography, film and new media) explores the ways in which technology influences early learning.

McMurdo exploits the artistic possibilities offered by scientific progress in her work and raises questions about the effect new virtual technologies have on human beings.

In 2020 she first exhibited Night Garden, a piece which explored the relationship between death, renewal and our relationship to the natural world. Night Garden was commissioned and shown as part of Florilegium: A gathering of flowers, the inaugural biennial exhibitionmarking the creation of Climate House at the Royal Botanic Gardens.
