Please note that the RSA Friends Bursary has now been brought in line with the new RSA Residencies for Scotland programme. The deadline has subsequently been postponed to: 1 September 2009.

This exciting new development will offer much greater opportunities for artists, forging new relationships with residency centres of excellence across Scotland and providing much needed facilities and support that might not otherwise be accessible.

To be a part of this programme, artists can now apply for further monies up to a maximum of £2,000 and must spend part of their time developing their work at a residency centre in Scotland.

New application information will be available on the website on the 11 June 2009, when the RSA Residencies for Scotland programme is launched. If you have already completed the application for the Friends Bursary, please check back to this page on the 11 June 2009 for the updated regulations and forward on to us any extra details required, such as your preferred residency centres, etc.
