RSA OPEN EXHIBITION of ARCHITECTURE

RSA OPEN EXHIBITION of ARCHITECTURE

The RSA Open Exhibition has a long history of celebrating the best of contemporary practice. After having been part of the RSA Annual Exhibition for over 180 years, it now enjoys its own slot in the RSA Calendar. Drawing from architects across the whole of Scotland and beyond, this exhibition in the RSA’s Lower Galleries showcases a range of architectural practice selected through open submission. Presentations include architectural drawings, models and film work.

CALL TO ARCHITECTS – NEW SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
This year the RSA is trialling a new online digital submission process. Used by many other arts organisations this will hopefully make it much easier for architects to submit work to the exhibition, and greatly reduce the number of works having to be transported to the galleries.

Online Registration
Architects need to register and complete the online application process before WEDNESDAY 1 OCTOBER 2014 @ 5PM. After this date, you will not be able to make changes to your online submission and new entries will not be allowed.

Pre-Selection
A number of works will be pre-selected online by the RSA Hanging and Selection Committee in advance of the hand in day. Architects will be able to log into their online account and view which works have been selected for the exhibition after Friday 10 October 2014 – please remember your log in details! Architects are not allowed to hand in different or substitute works to those that have been pre-selected.

Please let us know if you have any queries regarding the new online application process: 0131 624 6110
